I designed the logo for Mat Masters Academy, a martial arts gym that specializes in grappling sports such as wrestling and BJJ.

The logo is based on an octagon, the shape of an MMA cage. The bold and distinctive stylized M stands for Mat Masters – but it also resembles a Gi, the uniform used in Brazilian jiu-jitsu. The logo can also be colored red and blue to depict two wrestlers facing each other.
