Every Game in This City is a travel podcast on the Idle Thumbs Network about games, places, and playing well together.

In 2018, I met up in Malaysia with nine other game designers, researchers, and curators from all around the world with the goal of playing every escape room in Kuala Lumpur. Season 1 of Every Game in This City follows what happens when a group of friends plays over fifty escape rooms in a week.

In 2019, I went to Shanghai for the International Dota 2 championships – despite having never played or watched a game of Dota in my life. Season 2 of the podcast uses the lens of eSports to examine technology, economics, politics, and culture.
