Inconvenience Store

Pop Up Store
January – February 2016
51 Queen St, Melbourne

The city is full of modern conveniences, enabling busy people to be more productive. In response to this, the Inconvenience Store offered an oasis of counter-productivity, encouraging the public to slow down and slack off. We provided and prized inefficiency through board games, impractical meals, scheduled nap times, and lots and lots of tea. All profits from sales of books, clothes, local art, furniture, etc went to the UN High Commissioner for Refugees.
